Money donated to Reading Recreation Commission supports recreation and learning opportunities for children who need them most. Reading Recreation Commission is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and contributions are tax deductible.

We encourage monetary donations to our Youth Athletic Scholarship Program which helps children to be able to participate in our many wonderful programs throughout the year.  A donation of just $25.00 will fund a city child to attend our summer playground program for 8 weeks or to join one of our recreation centers during the school year.  $50.00 will help to sponsor a youth athlete to participate in our summer basketball league.  $500.00 will sponsor a basketball team including the sponsor’s name on game shirts and appropriate signage. Of course, donations of any amount are welcomed!
